In a typical insurance-based practice, a physician case load may exceed 3,000 patients! In our concierge practice, the number of patients is limited to only a few hundred.

This increases the amount of time you get to spend with your doctor at each appointment so all your questions can be answered in a single visit.

Expect same or next day access instead of 3-6 month wait times for follow-up visits. Our members have direct access to the physician for prompt reply to questions and concerns between visits.

What is concierge medicine?

Concierge Medicine is a type of medical practice where the physician provides direct access and personalized care with each patient for their specific needs. It’s designed to emphasize the highest possible quality of healthcare, including convenience and service, to keep your health at an optimal level.

This is a new way to deliver healthcare to patients. Our concierge model takes a membership-based approach with an annual fee covering medical visits & wellness needs without the hassle of billing and approvals from insurance.

How is concierge medicine different from traditional medicine?

Concierge medicine makes each individual patient a priority, placing an increased emphasis in providing the highest standard of care. In a typical, insurance-based practice, a physician panel is on average 3,000 patients. Within our concierge practice, Dr. Mohan limits our number of members to only 400.

Can I use my insurance?

No, we do not accept any form of health insurance. You need to keep your insurance to cover the cost of your medications, labs, medical imaging, and medical supplies. Your membership fee will cover selected services with additional services available as needed a la carte. If you have an FSA or similar plan, a superbill can be provided to you upon request.

Why did you convert your practice to concierge medicine?

Dr. Mohan acquired a wealth of experience in over 20 years as a leading endocrinologist in a world-class traditional healthcare system managing countless patients with complex endocrine conditions from around the world. His passion was to connect with patients, educate them on their conditions, and collaborate with them in their treatment path. This became more challenging with each year as the numbers of patients under his care grew. He wanted to create a unique patient-centered practice going above and beyond the confines of traditional medicine. We believe concierge medicine provides the best solution for enhanced services, easy access, longer and more thorough appointments, and exemplary response to patient needs.
